I never thought that i could every write this, but according to this. it seems that it's wasn't that safe.
I'm holding my personal email on google, and i use google apps for this domain, and i'm totally depending on it and i guess everybody else does.

the problem was that if you was logged in to your gmail and you opened a webpage containing a certain code, this page could create a filter in your gmail to redirect some of your emails to another email address. simply check your filters to make sure you are safe.
